Align is a class that is designed for anyone that desires more space and time....on the yoga mat, in their bodies, and in their lives.
The cadence is slowly paced to offer ample space for students to breathe and touch into what presents itself through the medium of yoga.
The class will introduce the language and application of alignment in the body. Alignment is important to reduce, as well as heal, injuries and inflammation. Students will learn how to use the body sustainably, doing more while working less.
Anatomical terms, poetry, energetic explorations, creative movements and imagery will be used, allowing students to connect with themselves in a deeply embodied way.
Please wear comfortable clothing in which you can move freely. If you do not own a mat, there are mats available at the studio. Plan on arriving 15 minutes early in order to get yourself situated and introduce yourself.
